Farmers Market Blood Drive

Every aspiring and caring cook, chef and partner knows that the best results come from the preparation of locally grown fresh produce.  And everyone knows the best place to get fresh produce in the Marinwood area each week is the Marin Sunday Farmers Market at the Marin Civic Center.   This week features a local blood in support of all the local hospitals and emergency care units.

So once you have stocked up on all your favorite fresh fruits & vegetables, breads, eggs, cheeses, meats and seafood for the week, why don’t you do your civic duty and give a pint of blood.  Visit the Facebook page to get all the details.

Monday; Labor Day

Labor Day

It’s a well deserved holiday for all the people who toil at work all year to provide a home for their families.  Have fun with all your friends as you enjoy the barbecue or the big game.  Enjoy a safe Labor Day weekend and maybe we’ll even run into each other at one of these Marinwood & Lucas Valley local fun things to do. And, please make sure you tell me all about your great weekend on the blog’s Facebook page.
