Why don’t you and your little ones start the weekend off right by joining Fran Halperin and the Studio 64 crew at the Youth In Arts Gallery?  They’re holding an evening of classes in art-making for everyone, no matter what your age.  You’ll get prepared for Valentine’s Day while you celebrate the Lunar New Year.  All ages of children, and their ‘young at heart’ parents are invited to these classes.  Tickets for adults are $20 and you can click here to get more information on what’s planned.  The adult tickets include a complimentary glass of wine along with the snacks provided.

Later Saturday evening, after you’ve found your fruits and vegetables for the week, you should also plan on going to the YogaWorks Grand Opening Celebration in Novato being held from 5pm to 7pm.  The celebration party will feature foods from Rustic Bakery and Whole Foods.  There will also be expert help provided by YogaWorks instructors for any yoga positions that you’ve found particularly challenging.  Click here to read more and then register to attennd here.

And for the ultimate Valentine’s Day Celebration, you can never go wrong with brunch or dinner at Terrapin Crossroads.  You’ve just got to try their heart-shaped pancakes with strawberries and creme served a la carte at the Sunday Brunch.  While at dinner, there will be a $60 prix fixe menu featuring 3 of the restaurant’s signature favorites.  Ah, but you will just have to visit the website to see all the delicious details.  And there will be smooth, romantic music played throughout the day.  Enjoy!
