The movie depicts the the true story of Oscar Grant, a 22 year old Bay Area resident who was mistakenly shot to death by a BART transit officer in 2008.  A Q&A session with Oscar Grant’s Uncle Bobby and wife Beatrice will follow. They will be discussing the advocacy work being done through their non-profit Love Not Blood Campaign.  You can read more here and show your support here.

And after you’ve found your fruits and vegetables for the week, you should wander over to the Marinwood Community Center for the Annual Winter Wine Tasting.  You will be able to familiarize yourself with many of the local wineries and their delicious product.  Tickets are $25 for adults and there is child care for young children.  Get additional details when you visit Marinwood.org.
