The entire weekend is extra special for all the artists of the Novato Arts Center and the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art.  That’s because they’ll be showing, and hopefully selling, their most recent works of art.  Pieces in all sorts of media including sculpture, painting, portraiture, drawing, mixed media, photography, and textiles will be on display.  Read more about the weekend’s activities when you click here.   Then visit the MarinMOCA website and download the list of artists and demonstrations planned for this FREE weekend event.

Marin Academy is the site for this year’s Central Marin Soccer Tryouts.  Parents will want to encourage their kids between the ages 7-14 to get away from the video games, go outside and try out the world game.  Click here to get the detailed tryout schedule by age group and scroll to the bottom for online registration.

Enjoy another great weekend and maybe we’ll even run into each other at one of these Marinwood & Lucas Valley local fun things to do. Please make sure you tell me all about your great weekend; either right below in the comments or on the blog’s Facebook page.
