The 5th Annual Tiburon Art Festival returns to Ark Row, featuring 64 juried artists, live music, family entertainment and activities.

Special Feature — Plein Aire Competition

All local artists are welcome to paint “in the open air” on Saturday (August 27th) of the weekend’s festivities between 10am and 3pm.

Judges will choose winners of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place cash prizes. The paintings created are to be displayed immediately after from 4pm to 6pm; as well as, on Sunday, between 11am and 6pm. These paintings will subsequently be available to be purchased through silent auction on Ark Row.

You have a rare chance to buy paintings of local scenes by local artists at an extremely reasonable price.

Tiburon/Belvedere 2011 Main Street Parade

Have more fun than ever at the this year’s Main Street Parade!

The theme for this year is “Life on the Bay”. Everyone is invited to create a float with a theme representing what “Life on the Bay” means for you. Organize your neighborhood, club members, team members, family or friends and get involved in the fun!

Blackie’s Hay Day

Bookmarks hosts the day to benefit the children and teen programs conducted by the Belvedere-Tiburon Library. The local “country fair” features a number of childrens activities, including pony rides, climbing walls, train rides, petting zoo and jumpies. Fresh food and live entertainment will also be available on the day.

And for the First Time Ever this Year!…Picnic on the Green

McKegney Green
Noon – 3pm

Join friends and neighbors at the town-wide picnic that’s being held at McKegney Green. Drinks and food will be available, in addition to whatever you bring. There will be entertainment provided by local musicians as well. Enjoy this family friendly event!
